Rail Budget 2016: Suresh Prabhu's 11 Announcements to make Common Man Happy. (Summary)

 Its Brief Summary of Rail Budget-2016 Announcements.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu in his Rail Budget Speech

1) For the Unreserved passenger: Antyodaya Express and Deen Dayalu coaches. We will also add two to four Deen Dayalu coaches in some long distance trains.

2) For the Reserved passenger -  
      A) Humsafar (Fully III-AC),  
      B) Tejas (130 KMPH) +WI-FI + Entertainment,and 
      C) UDAY:  (Double Decker + AC ) 
3) No fare hike
 4) SMART Coaches: (Railways is planning to re-imagine the design and layout of coaches to ensure higher carrying capacity and provision of new amenities including automatic doors, bar-code readers, bio-vacuum toilets, water-level indicators, accessible dustbins, ergonomic seating, improved aesthetics, vending machines, entertainment screens, LED lit boards for advertising, PA system and more.

6) Dealing with TATKAL :  CCTV Cameras at Counter & Third Party Audit.
7) Improving Customer Interface :  CCTV Cameras at Counter & Third Party Audit.
8) Swachh Rail:  "Clean My Coach" - SMS Facility  + BIO-TOILETS .
9)  IRCTC Services & Food Facility: E-Catering Facility  for A1 & A Class Station
10)  Safe Travel & Insurance :  Optional Insurance.
11) Rail Mitra Sewa :  For Disabled Passenger Pick & Drop, Battery Car ,Potter Services.

Nothing much for Middle class but some positive aspects.
